Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we handle your personal data when you visit this website or join The Female Founders Table community. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Dutch data-protection law (UAVG). We keep it short and in plain language.

1. Who is responsible

We are a small initiative and are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer. For any privacy question, write to [email protected].

2. What we collect and why

When you join our community through the «Join our community» form, we collect:

• your name and email address;
• what you are interested in (joining a next edition and/or partnering with us), if you tell us;
• that you gave your consent, and the date you joined.

We use this only to keep you informed about The Female Founders Table community, upcoming editions and partnership opportunities, and to reply to you. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

When you write to us by email, we use what you send only to answer you.

When you browse the site, our hosting providers keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for a short period, to keep the site secure and running.

3. Legal basis

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for community updates. You give it by ticking the box in the form, and you can withdraw it at any time.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — to answer your messages and to keep the website secure.

4. Cookies

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so your visit is not shared with font providers. If you click through to Instagram, Google Maps or your email app, those services apply their own policies.

5. Who processes your data for us

We only use service providers that help us run the community, under data-processing agreements:

• Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France) — stores our community list and sends our emails.
• Binoma (our web studio) — builds and hosts this website and runs the small service that passes your form details to Brevo. That service does not keep a copy of your data. It runs on Supabase (EU region).
• Hetzner Online (Germany) and Cloudflare — hosting and secure delivery of this website.
• Authorities — only if we are legally required to.

6. International transfers

Some providers (for example Cloudflare and Supabase) are based in, or use sub-processors in, the United States. Where personal data leaves the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

7. How long we keep it

• Community list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
• Emails you send us: as long as needed to help you, and no longer than 24 months afterwards.
• Technical logs: a short period, for security.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before. Just write to [email protected] — it is free and we reply within one month.

You also have the right to complain to the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

9. Security and children

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data (encrypted connections, access limited to the people who need it). Our community is for adults; we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
